REUNION TICKETS SELLING FAST!!

The tickets to the BHS Class of 1972 50th Reunion are selling fast.  We have now sold half of the available tickets to this event.

"Why are you limiting the amount of tickets that can be sold?" some of you have asked.  As you may know, when you book a catering event, the room you book always has a maximum occupancy number which is established by the Fire Department or other local agencies.  The room we have booked for Capt Bill's has a max of 100 guests.  So that is why we are limited.  There is a larger room, but when Bob Russo checked today, that room is not available on that date.  So it looks like we are limited to 100 by the room.

We did consider booking the larger room to start, but it would have meant guaranteeing that at least 100 or more would attend.  If 100 don't attend, you still have to pay for all those seats.  We couldn't take that chance, especially since we kept the ticket price as low as we could, and there won't be extra money to pay for unsold seats.  Since we usually attract about 80 attendees per reunion, 100 is probably the right number, since we may get more people attending because it is a real milestone reunion--50 years!

Many classmates have reached out to me to tell me to expect their payment shortly.  I have added them to the list of attendees.  Please reach out to me if you are mailing a check, or even if you plan to Venmo or PayPal the money soon.

Meanwhile, we are accepting requests for the songs that the DJ should play that night.  The first request I received was, "Those Were the Days" by Mary Hopkins.  A great choice, and oh so fitting!
